MyTable Website Privacy Policy

Collection of personal information:
When you register with MyTable, you provide us with personal information such as name, location and email address. If you do not wish us to have this information, do not register with MyTable.  Membership information is stored by MyTable to enable you to interact with the website, write restaurant reviews, and upload restaurant photos.

Use of personal information:
Unless we specifically advise you otherwise, all information we collect about you is for the internal use of MyTable.  We will not sell or share this data to other parties.  If you allow us to by opting in, we will send you e-newsletters or other marketing information from time to time. If you do not opt in to such communication, we will not send you this material.

Restaurant reviews, recommendations and photos which you add to MyTable will be shared with the public on the MyTable website and mobile phone applications. They may also appear on partner websites.  You will be identified in relationship to these according to the “screen name” you provide when you register.

When you make a restaurant reservation using MyTable, reservation information is sent to the restaurant, including your contact information and time, date and size of the reservation. Any dining preferences that may be stored in your profile may also be shared with the restaurant to help them offer you the best service.

Use of cookies:
MyTable uses “cookies” store a small amount of data in your browser. This information is designed to improve your experience on the MyTable website.  Information stored in cookies is not collected centrally by MyTable.  You may delete these cookies at any time, or set your browser not to accept cookies, although your satisfaction with use of the MyTable website may be affected.

Online Advertising:
MyTable has implemented Display Advertising from Google and we have implemented certain Google Analytics features based on Displayed Advertising to support this (e.g., Remarketing).

Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Preferences Manager

MyTable uses Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online. Third-party vendors, including Google, show you ads on sites across the Internet.

MyTable and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone's past visits to the MyTable website.

MyTable complies with all Swiss data privacy legislation.  

These privacy provisions may be changed from time to time. Changes will become effective when posted here on the MyTable website.
