Executive chef experience and qualifications
Head Chef Andrew West has worked with Gordon Ramsey at Claridges. Prior to joining the Retro Andrew was Head Chef at the up market Maison MK in Marrakech, Morocco.
Andrew’s background includes working at The Charlton House Hotel in Shepton Mallet and The Swan at Streatly, Streatly on Thames. He joined the Retro run by owner and maitre d’ Vincent Gerbeau earlier this year (2012). Andrew and Vincent are well matched, both enjoying a creative flair and love of artistry in food and ambiance.
