Restaurant description

Drop in for a drink in our cosy 16th century half-timbered bar or enjoy the summer weather in our secluded courtyard tucked away from the bustle of Thame High Street. We offer friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Well aware that Thame was once home to one of England's most famous inn-keepers, John Fothergill, we want The Thatch to be a pub he would have enjoyed.

Fantastic sausages, free range chicken, pan-fried fish and seafood; 28 day dry-aged Aberdeenshire steak.
The Thatch is, first and foremost, a pub so we serve well-kept real ales and continental lagers as well as premium spirits such as Bombay Sapphire gin, Havana Especial rum and Wyborowa Exquisite vodka at pub prices.
