Learn distinctive Mediterranean cuisine, prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The Positano restaurant is inspired by the four seasons and surprises with creative dishes.

In spring, for example, fresh young vegetables, asparagus dishes or corn salad with bacon are available for selection. The fall again fills the menu with delicious dishes from pumpkins and mushrooms, such as Tagliatelle with mushroom sauce.

The restaurant is named after the town of Positano, which is located on Italy's Amalfi Coast. The cuisine is based on this location.

Stampfenbachstrasse in which the restaurant is located in Positano, already offers a large number of parking spaces. Should there be no free parking available, you are welcome in the nearby parking garage parking on Seilergraben. This is around 200 meters from the restaurant.

Positano offers an optional on gluten-free pasta. The chefs and staff are very familiar with the topic of gluten sensitivity. They can advise you in your gluten-free menu choice.

Executive chef experience and qualifications

Luigi Acampora ist in der Nähe von Amalfi, die bekannteste Ortschaft an der Amalfiküste geboren.

Ein Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft, denn er wuchs in der Gastronomie auf. Sein Vater hatte schon ein Restaurant und für Luigi war der Job als Gastronom nie ein Muss sondern immer eine Freude. Er hat unter anderem für den marokkanischen König Hassan II sowie für die amerikanische Botschaft in Rom gekocht.

1995 wurde er schliesslich von einer bekannten schweizerischen Restaurant-Kette in die Schweiz geholt mit dem Hauptziel, Pasta- und Pizzakünste den lokalen Köchen beizubringen.

Übrigens 1991 und 1992 wurde Luigi in Salsomaggiore Terme zweimal Pizza-Weltmeister. Auch die bekannte Sendung «Kassensturz» hat ihn als anerkannten Pizza-Kritiker eingeladen um Pizza’s der verschiedenen Grossverteiler qualitativ zu beurteilen.

How to arrive by public transportation:

Train and tram
From central station take tram number 3/10 from stop Bahnhofplatz / HB towards Klusplatz / Oerlikon station / Airport.

You can also find a tram stop of line 6 from Bahnhofstrasse / HB towards the zoo or line 4 from Bahnhofquai / HB take towards Tiefenbrunnen.

No matter which tram they have boarded, the ride ends already at the next stop, the famous Zurich Central. Here begins the Stampfenbachstrasse.
