Restaurant description

To see the winery you have to walk slowly and curious in the center of Tirano. In the summer, a short cool but sunny and always welcoming surrounds you, in winter at the fornt of fireplace welcomes the bench most of the host every traveler. The wine is king, with more than 800 wines and a choice of 200 wines by the glass, kitchen, beers, whiskey, tea and herbal teas hold a place only on the surface of the second floor.
The kitchen is always open: Francis Cook 20 years but with a decent resume search in every dish to do well.
The atmosphere is simple, being respectful of the environment of the past centuries.
The specialty? Customers always wonderful and attentive.

The cook has celiac disease, so there is a great rigor in the choice of raw materials.
The workmanship is always essential and light.
The dishes should not miss. Are cooked according to tradition but are rispottosi of modern requirements.
A simple menu but decided guormet shows our will to choose in combination with a different bottle for any occasion.

Food source

All raw materials, where possible, come from Valtellina.
Vegetables and fruits are from our farm, meats and cheeses from the farmers who espouse the philosophy, flour from Teglio.
The meat comes from outside: selected for us by his friend Dario Bordoni, largest producer of Bresaole.
The fish, when the cook us know of companies dedicated to providing quality catering.

Executive chef experience and qualifications

Andreotta Francesco è nato nel 1990.
Formatosi nella sua cucina è cresciuta passo dopo passo nei ristoranti di Leo Bassola, di Luca Cantoni - ristorante Fracia, di Pietro Lemann - ristorante Joia a Milano (stella Michelin), Mattias - Mattias Livigno CHELET (stella Michelin).
E 'all'inizio, la volontà è alta, il desiderio pure.
