A brand new Star in the gastronomy scenario of Bologna.
The Restaurant i Portici, inaugurated on October 22nd, 2008, managed by Chef Guido H. Haverkock, has been awarded with the prestigious 2012 Michelin Star.
Located inside the Eden Theatre, the ancient 20th century Caffè chantant, restored to its former beauty thanks to the restauration of its Liberty frescos, the restaurant i Portici has been thought as an exclusive location for a unique food and wine experience.
The wise blend of tastes characterised by a perfect balance which makes Haverkock famous gastronomy creations perfectly harmonious, a painstaking care for ingredient cooking and the precious details chosen to enhance the beauty of the place, such as oil candles, crystal ware, silverware, fine porcelain ware, and linen fabrics, together with a flawless service managed by Maître Ambrogio Luiselli, made this restaurant a unique framework for unforgettable moments.
Everything is shaded in grey and white, with a continuous shift from contemporary to romantic style. The Restaurant cares a lot for its guests, who are the protagonists of a “sensorial journey” in which taste and sight are pleasantly satisfied.
The wine selection, by the Maître and Sommelier Nicola Cuccato, features the best Italian, French, and German products.
The Restaurant, with its 40 seats, is open only for dinner and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
